In case you missed it, we’re doing a little recap today of all of our #WeLoveItWednesday items for the month of September. If you aren’t familiar, this is a post that we do every Wednesday on our social media pages where someone on our team shares something (anything) we are currently loving and spills all the deets on where you can find it, why we’re raving about it, etc. It could be something as simple as a new piece of decor we bought, to a local restaurant, or even a paint color we are digging at the time.
Without further adieu, here’s what we loved last month.
Susan F.: Organized Chaos
Organized Chaos is a division of our team that was recently launched by our girl Emily Maltby that offers home organizational services. I’ll tell you that we’ve all been really inspired by Emily and all of her organizational tips and tricks to get organized in our homes, but Susan F. in particular made sure to give her a shout out during We Love It Wednesday. Emily and her expert advice and product recommendations gave Susan the motivation to tackle her pantry, which now functions much better for her and her family. Y’all, we can tell you from experience that Emily’s help is life changing! Give her a shout if you need some organizational help because she knows her stuff and will inspire a more functional and beautiful home! You can find her on Facebook (click here) and Instagram at @organizedchaosrva
Are we shocked that Erin’s pick was a tool? Not in the least. This girl loves a project and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty, so she chose her favorite tool to use for most anything around the house. You don’t have to be a DIY lover like E to appreciate a good screwdriver and this one takes all the work out of the job. Things to mention–it plugs up to charge and has every type of screwdriver you could need in one place. Love it!
Laura: Sydney Hale Candles
September is when we start getting cozy at home, and a fall-scented candle is one of the ways Laura transforms the ambiance of her home this time of year. Her current favorites, which just happens to be a local company to Richmond, are Sydney Hale candles. There are several scents to choose from, her fall favorites being Eucalyptus + Sage and Applewood + Birch. She finds them at Gather in Midlothian, but you can also purchase them online and at other local boutiques. Check their website linked above for the closest store to you. But, possibly the best part of supporting Sydney Hale is that a portion of their sales is given to support animal rescues locally and across the country! Supporting local business AND animals in need…win, win!!
Susan M: Trend
Susan’s pick has got us all shopping! Trend is a local boutique here in Richmond, located in the River Road Shopping Center with too many fantastic things to mention, to be honest. They’ve got gifts, clothes, home decor, kids and baby items, shoes, accessories, jewelry, and the list goes on. The shop is owned by Susan’s good friends, Kim and Andrew Moody, and it is just a fantastic local shopping spot to find that special piece. Be sure to give yourself some time to hang out there for a bit because you’re going to want to look around a while. And, again, you’re supporting RVA business, which we always love. We linked them above. They also have a location in Blackstone if you’re in that neck of the woods. Be warned, you won’t come out empty handed.
Emily: Olly Gummy Vitamins
Em has been raving to us about these Olly gummies for a while, and some of us have jumped on the bandwagon with her, so it was a no-brainer for her to share them with you guys. She swears by the Sleep gummies that have melatonin to help her rest at night and turn her brain off from the day. She also takes their Women’s Multivitamin and the Probiotic and has really been loving them all for the benefits they give. Target is where she gets them and there’s a variety for just about anything you need–kids, stress, focus, skin, immunity, you name it. SMT-approved and highly recommended!
