We’re well into November at this point, but with five of us these We Love it Wednesday Recap blogs are going to be just a little off each month. So, sorry ahead of time for the blunders in timing that are inevitable. We know you’ll forgive us though, because you guys are just amazing that way and we know that you’re loving We Love It Wednesday just as much as we are loving bringing them to you!

In case you missed it or you just want to see everything we loved last month again, here they are with links and pictures attached.

Susan Farmer: Orange Theory Fitness Midlothian

With the holidays coming up, what a perfect time to spotlight a gym, am I right?! Susan recently got back into a fitness routine after having her sweet baby boy and she wanted to give a big shout to the folks at OTF in Midlo for being the perfect team to help with her goals and make sure that her workout is balanced and doing exactly what she wants it to do. They take out all of the guesswork that comes with a typical gym setup, it’s so easy to book a class, and the team there are amazing cheerleaders! She couldn’t love it (if you can love a gym, that is) any more.

If you’re interested in giving it a shot for yourself, they’re located right by our office in Westchester Commons.

Erin: The Layered Doormat Trend (Nickel Designs)

Erin loves a pretty doormat almost as much as she loves a porch, so she is fully on board for the layered look that’s trending right now. In particular, she’s fallen in love with everything that Nicole from Nickel Designs creates. Nicole began her small business from her home in Southern California and now is known nationwide for her amazing custom doormats. She also carries beautiful layering rug designs and if you follow her on IG (which you have to!) she shares doormat inspiration that’ll make you want about 50 different pair to change out year-round. She’s already got the rest of our team wanting to spend ALL.THE.MONEY. Check her out at the link above.

Laura: Samplize Peel and Stick Paint Swatches

Susan helped get Laura and her family into a new home this past month, so she’s been doing a lot of house painting projects and the peel and stick paint swatches from Samplize have been a huge time and mess-saver. What she loves is that you can choose any paint color from several major paint companies, they were at her door within a matter of days, and there was no paint brush. Plus, they’re made of real paint so you know the color is true and you can move them around the room as many times as you like to check lighting. It’s $5.95 for each sample (totally worth it) and $5 off your first order with free shipping over $15. No.Brainer. The best thing since sliced bread if you ask Laura.

Susan Morris: Graco X5 Paint Sprayer

Our new Black Dog Renovations flip is underway and Susan is so in love with her paint sprayer (it saves so much time that it’s unreal!) that she’s raving about it this month to anyone who’ll listen. It’s by Graco Paint Sprayers and it is LEGIT! The BDR team used it to paint just about every inch of the project house and the process could not have been easier. She bought hers from Home Depot (linked above) and she says it’s so worth the investment! And if you want to check out BDR’s new project, follow us on Facebook or IG @blackdogrenovationsrva. It’s a 3 bed 2.5 bath home in the West End of Richmond that’ll be fully renovated and ready for the market in about 60 days!!

Emily: Thrill of the Hunt

unnamed

Emily’s pick last month was a local custom and upcycled furniture and decor shop in Ashland, VA called Thrill of the Hunt. She’s a Randolph Macon grad and, fun fact, actually used to work there re-finishing furniture in college, but it’s still her favorite place to find one-of-a-kind home pieces and gifts in RVA. Emily also still loves to re-finish furniture for family and friends and is a huge fan of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, which Thrill of the Hunt is a stockist for. Oh, and they also build custom kitchen islands, which are GORGEOUS! The entire shop is beautiful and is always changing, so go spend an afternoon and see what they’ve got to offer. They have great gifts for the holidays too and you know we always love to see everyone shopping small!

The website is linked above so that you can see what this fantastic local business is all about.

Stay tuned next month for more of our what we are LOVING!
